Upcoming Events

Come along to our photo sessions to dust off your camera and get snap-happy with a professional photography instructor.

Brush up on your camera skills and learn new photography techniques whilst on a photo walk class with other local keen photographers!

We run two hour photography sessions based on a photography theme/technique/style and they take place in various locations in Corpus Christi.

  • New to photography? We also run a popular 3 hour Beginners Guide to Photography Class once a month. And once in a while we will run special niche 3 hour classes, for example, Astrophotography - so do subscribe to our newsletter to know when the next on is!

  • Who can attend? Open to all skill levels, from beginners to keen amateurs. The photography instructor is there to help you with camera settings and provide any advice you need.

  • What to bring? We recommend bringing a camera that has full manual mode or semi-manual modes (Aperture or Shutter Priority). Compact cameras and smartphones also welcome!

The meeting point and full details for the day are sent in the booking confirmation email to the email address you provide at time of booking.

Join the Corpus Christi Photography Group on Facebook to share your photos after the session.

I really enjoyed the event. I like how the challenges allowed me to focus on some things I generally don't consider.
Savy was great and made things a lot of fun
    Felisha Sarai
Hello friends! I'm Felisha Sarai and I'm so excited to meet my fellow artists, photographers, and creative minds. I've been expanding my knowledge of photography for over ten years now and am looking forward to helping others with their photography endeavors. I've attended collegiate classes for photography and have attended photojournalism workshops. My experiences range from working inside photography studios using special effects, working at high school football stadiums photographing local teams, capturing senior portraits at schools, photographing weddings, documenting business meetings, and photographing at restaurants. When I'm not photographing, I enjoy painting with acrylics or watercolor, hanging out with my two corgis, and gardening. I hope we can chat more in class, see y'all soon!

We took a trip to a rookery via boat. The birds were so busy building nests that they did not even notice us drifting off in the distance. This photo was taken from a boat during my 2024 whooping crane workshop.

This is the best way to capture sunrises in Corpus Christi. On this day, the sun was barely peaking through the clouds and offered great shadow and hue to the photo. The waves were silent and the water left by the tide gave a great reflection.

I have a passion for photography and I especially love capturing sunsets and sunrises. On This particular day the waters were so still that they offered a mirror like reflection of the boardwalk and the and sky on the water. The light was just right to capture the calmness of the moment.

My wife and I were at the park and we're sharing a beautiful sunset when I jumped down and laid on my side to get this shot. I'm happy I did.

Title or Location: Rocky Mountain National Park
The day before taking the shot, I drove up to RMNP to scout a possible Milky Way shot with Nymph Lake in the foreground. The scouting was successful as it did look like I'd be able to have both the lake and the Milky Way in the shot, so I made a plan to head up there again the next day (July 3rd) and capture what I planned. Prior to heading back up to RMNP, while looking at the map of the area, I noticed another possible location where Fall River would be in the foreground and in my mind, having

A friend of mine discovered this bald eagle nest just north of Lititz. I've been keeping an eye on it for a decent shot. This adult has been keeping guard of its juveniles for some time now. I finally saw the adult sitting just to the right of the nest. I am a very new and amateur photographer and still very much learning. I travel quite a bit and enjoy shooting the places I visit but also love wildlife photography. I really didn't process much other than bring up some of the exposure to g

Title or Location: Bempton Cliffs. Unsociable puffin
Me and my partner spent the day at Bempton cliffs and this was the only lone puffin that had it back to the sea, He/she was clearly not wanting to socialise with other birds. Possibly in a bad mood. This is why this particular puffing grabbed my attention.
